Bel’s classic garments are part of our heritage and a few of them have become important icons, the Bel Teba jacket is one of them.
The story of this shooting cardigan starts with a knitted jacket made for the late King Alfonso XIII. The admired jacket was given as a gift to the young Count of Teba nicknamed “Bunting”, at that time a promising Best Shot.
Years later in 1943, at a shoot in “Camarenilla”, the three Guns – Teba, the Count of Caralt and Enrique Maier – commissioned Maier to ask Bel to reproduce the desired jacket. As the three were already clients, Bel had the measurements.
Since then, The Bel Teba jacket has evolved very slightly, however the essence of the original shooting cardigan remains unaltered, and hand made on the very same premises.
